Use the Dashboard
The Checkout.com Dashboard enables you to monitor and analyze all your payments in one place. This includes your key performance indicators, payment history and details, and analytics.
Note
The Dashboard supports the latest version of the Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers. If you use an unsupported browser, some features may not work as expected, or at all.
To sign in to the Dashboard, enter your email address and then select one of the following options:
- Sign in with password – Sign in with your email address and password. This method requires each user to configure a multi-factor authentication (MFA) method.
- Sign in with SSO – Authenticate through your organization's identity provider (IdP) using single sign-on (SSO) with SAML 2.0. If your email domain is linked to a single IdP, we redirect you to that provider. If your domain is linked to more than one IdP, we display the available SSO options so you can select the one to use.
Because both options are available, a domain that is linked to an IdP for one account does not prevent you from using your email address and password to sign in to a separate account that does not use SSO.
Note
Shared and group accounts are not supported. Ensure that all your users sign in using their own credentials.
If you have multiple business entities, your Dashboard combines and display the data for all of them by default.
To view data for a specific entity, select the entity from the drop-down menu in the top left corner.
When you sign in to the Dashboard, the Overview page is displayed. It provides a concise view of all your payments activity so you can check how your business is doing at a glance.
Track and analyze your volume, refunds, and disputes metrics in real time. You can also see a detailed breakdown of volume per card type, payment method, and currency you support.
The display currency is the default currency you chose when setting up your Checkout.com account.
You cannot change this.
The Dashboard time zone is determined by your browser settings. It is used for the Datetime Local field in reports.
By default, the Overview page displays data from the last two weeks.
To view older data, select Date filter and then select a specific date or the start and end date for a date range.
Use global search to quickly find pages and payments without navigating through the menus. The search bar is available at the top of every Dashboard page.
Select the search bar and start typing. Results appear as you type and are grouped into sections so you can scan them quickly:
- Pages – Go directly to a Dashboard page or section. You don't need to type the exact page name, because search also matches related terms.
- Payments – Find a specific payment using one of the following:
- Payment ID – The payment identifier, prefixed with
pay_. - Authentication ID – The 3D Secure (3DS) authentication session reference, prefixed with
sid_and followed by exactly 26 alphanumeric characters. - Customer email – The email address associated with the payment.
- Card number – The last four digits of the card number.
- Payment ID – The payment identifier, prefixed with
Payment search matches payment IDs and authentication IDs exactly, so a partial or similar payment ID or authentication ID does not return a result.
You can pin frequently used Dashboard pages for quick access. Pinned pages appear in the Pinned section of the left navigation menu, which is useful when you're working across multiple Dashboard pages.
To pin the page you're viewing, hover over the page title. Select the pin icon that appears. You can pin up to three pages at a time.
To remove a pin, hover over the page title and select the unpin icon.
When you have three pinned pages, the pin icon is disabled on other pages. To pin a different page, remove an existing pin first.
The key performance indicators (KPIs) provide an overview of how your business is performing.
The following table describes each KPI in the Dashboard:
