Learn how to get started with Checkout.com for SaaS, from onboarding sub-entities to processing payments on their behalf.
Every seller that processes payments with Checkout.com via your platform is represented as a sub-entity. Before a sub-entity can accept payments or receive payouts, they must complete our verification process to ensure that they:
Meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
Pass financial crime and fraud checks.
Comply with applicable laws and card scheme rules.
For detailed guidance on the onboarding steps and required information, see Onboard sub-entities.
When a sub-entity is verified and onboarded, Checkout.com activates their payment and payout capabilities. This enables them to start processing payments through your platform integration.
For more information, see Process sub-entity payments.
You can retrieve payment details or query specific payments across your sub-entities' payment history.
For more information, see Manage sub-entity payments.
When Checkout.com captures funds from customers on behalf of your sub-entities, we can transfer the funds to each sub-entity's bank account as a settlement payout.
Sub-entities can set their own schedules for their settlements. For example, daily, weekly, or monthly in their preferred time zone. They can update their settlement schedule at any time.
You can get details of your sub-entities' settlement schedules on behalf of your sub-entities.
For more information, see Manage sub-entity settlements.
Checkout.com can pay out funds to sub-entities using on-demand or scheduled bank payouts.
For more information, see Process sub-entity payouts.
You can get the balances and reserve rules on behalf of your sub-entities.
For more information, see Manage sub-entity balances.
To support your and your sub-entities' business operations and insights, Checkout.com provides a range of reports.
For more information about the available reports, see Retrieve reports.
